24 Hour Bail Service

If you’re trying to bail someone out in Palm Beach County, the first thing you want to know is simple: what’s this going to cost me? Here’s the straight answer, no runaround.

The short version: 10% in Florida

For a state charge in Florida, a bail bond costs 10% of the total bail amount. That percentage is set by state law and regulated by the Department of Financial Services — it’s the same at every licensed bondsman. If bail is $10,000, the bond is $1,000. If it’s $5,000, it’s $500. Federal bonds run higher (usually 15%).

So why do prices “feel” different?

They shouldn’t. Because the 10% is fixed by law, no honest bondsman can legally charge you less. If someone quotes you a rock-bottom price, be careful — that’s a red flag, not a deal. What actually differs between bondsmen is how fast they answer, how they treat you, and whether they’ll work with you on payment.

What if I don’t have the 10% right now?

This is where it matters who you call. At Bail Bond Release Center of the Palm Beaches, we offer payment plans — no money down, payments as low as $50 a month. An arrest doesn’t wait for payday, and getting your person home shouldn’t either. Tell us what you can manage and we’ll work with you.

Is the premium refundable?

No. The 10% is the bondsman’s fee for posting the full bond and taking on the risk. Once the bond is posted, that fee is earned — whether the case ends in a dismissal, a plea, or a trial. What you don’t pay is the full bail amount; that’s the whole point of using a bondsman.

The bottom line

A bail bond in Florida is 10% of the bail, period. Don’t shop on price — shop on who picks up the phone at 3am, treats your family right, and offers a payment plan when money’s tight. That’s us.
